Setting up a cannabis shop - Thailand

The very 1st time I come to Thailand 25 years ago I was smokning weed in the islands along with most others who didnt really think to much of the ganja laws as everyone seemed to be openly smoking ganja on the beach. Fast forward 25 years and I am back in Thailand living and my wife is the part owner of Mr Haze Cannabis Club, Over the last year we met some great people involved in growing organic ganja in ChiangMai which has led my wide to open Mr Haze Cannabis Shop.

Let me tell you, securing a cannabis lisence takes time, patience and a lot of paper workwhich you wont be surprised about if you already live here as I do. My wife saved around 5k USD in setting up the business herself but I would not realy recomend going that way unless you are local or can communicate well in Thai. I was also surprised about the ammount of paper work that has to be done even when set up and operational. If money was no object then I 100% recomend having a proffesional do it, especially if you are going into a new partnership. You can also go down the shelf company route also that can negate much of the paper work.
